Around 100 buses will start to give service in the Ethiopian capital

Around 100 buses will start to give service in the Ethiopian capital.The Authorities believes that these buses will ease the transport problem in Addis Ababa. According the authorities this is only the beginning, they are planning to bring much more buses in the coming  months.

Alliance Transport Service Share Company (ATSSC) today received 100 buses that were imported duty free. Alliance spent 2 million birr for each bus.

The government of Ethiopia planned to import a total of 500 buses duty free this budget year to alleviate the transport problem in Addis Ababa.

The 100 buses which alliance received today are part of this plan. Alliance will also import additional 200 buses in the future, it was noted.

Previously, the government has imported 836 meter taxis duty free. Though Ethiopian capital,Addis Ababa has already light weight train service, it is still needs more transport service for the people.
